You used to say it all the time
"I can't wait to grow up!"
What did you expect when you said that?
Probably a fairytale-like lifestyle
A Prince (or Princess) Charming that would never let you down
Or even endless happiness.
Wake up.
What did you expect?
"I can't wait to grow up!"
You can't say that anymore, now can you?
All you say now is how much you wish you were a kid again.
Well what did you expect when you said you wanted to grow up?
Certainly not dissapointments
Judgements
Lies
Or even worse - the truth.
You've waken up.
What did you expect?
Just don't let this dismay you
"I can't wait for tomorrow!" is what you should say
Sure, you won't get what you expected when you said you wanted to grow up
You will get dissapointments
Judgements
Lies
And even worse - the truth.
But you'll also get your Prince or Princess Charming
And your happiness
It just won't be how you expected.
Now what do you expect?
