The streets , take you in when you have no one else.

They take away your innocence.

You lose all feelings, you turn cold and wicked.

All the imagination you had as a child is dead.

They make you turn to the wrong people for love and help.

Its cold as ice.

You get the smell of gas and burnt rubber coming from the road.

Cars constantly crash and conflict.

You have to watch your back for the angry people out in the world who think the world owes them something.

It breaks you down and makes you scared of the real world.

It tastes like the cigarette smoke people burn their lungs with.

You see all the people who used to have dreams of being something in life go to waist.

All through the streets you hear gun shots and cars speeding past each other.

The streets are a cold hearted b****.

Follow your dreams.

Don't let the haunted street lure you into the life.

The streets turn you into an ant under a microscope.

They turn you into a criminal,

taunts you into gangs and drugs,

make you grow up quick.

All the dreams you wanted to achieve when you were younger burn up in the chemicals you inhale to get to a better place.

You start thinking that running with the high rollers will give you the Scar Face fantasy.

it doesn't.

They make your family disown you.

At the end of the day the streets will make you have no one.

You become a broken down soul.

Don't go to the streets for help because the only way out is by going to the hospital,

going to prison, or getting buried six feet under the ground.

You will see the ones you lovfe lose their lives to the streets.

Be something.

Live your life freely, because one wrong decision you make out on the streets can get you killed or put in prison for life.

Listen to hat i say -- It is true.

I hope this helps you realize the truth about the world.

I wrote this piece because I have been threw all these things and I am only 15. So that might make you realize that the streets dont care how old you are or who you are, they will still try to pull you in.
