the party
freedom rang and rang and rang
Uninvited.
To a place where it would not be let in
Where Hate lies decit danced and drank together.
chains held freedom back and kept the party going
But freedom was there it seemed
He was invited but unwanted.
It seemed to him no one saw his voice screaming out
He cried wolf
He cried liberty
He cried for equality
They weren't welcomed.
And the problems he faced set under the rug stomped on
And hushed
He was invited and to be happy
But yet not wanted and lonely
No one to relate to.
Too hard to let words out and compete with hate.
He was left to stand and a corner that seemed brighter than the room that he entered.
