Favorite Quote:
Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see. -Mark Twain

The drakness comes

And swallows whole

Those who dare deceive him.

He traps them in his giant jaws

And never will let go.

He continues his sport

and to this day continues

the sport of swallowing whole

those who dare deceive him,

and never will he cease.

Where they go

no one knows,

And it happens but all the time.

For every day,

one by one,

Darkness claims a victim.

And some come back,

but more don't than do,

and the truth of it is

is that it's true

After reading a lot of Emily Dickinson poems, I decided to write a poem similar to what Emily might have- one with deep meaning and an interesting style of writing. Hopefully that's what I did!
