He’s hurt, he’s in pain
It’s all for their troubles
And his mind wants to die, he can’t think

The waves brought us down

‘I want him to live’ my vows and my dowry
Though he died in my arms in ‘92
I don’t want this to be our last goodbye
But I rely on the hurricane
To bring us closer together
’92 the year we were washed away
I was washed ashore
He had drowned… and we would never meet
Never to be together
The leaves smelled like incense
This could be our sweet spot
This could be our good life, the good life
The hurricane washed the pain away
Brought the disaster
And I wouldn't care
Just because you were beneath me
And that’s it
That’s goodbye
I didn't care
I wouldn't care if you were dead
All this can be the end
I wouldn't care if the hurricane came…
To kill us over and over again
And that would be it
The sweet taste of butterflies gone
The hurricane could kill that too
I wouldn't care
With forever I hold on to ‘92
And these forever memories could die too
