The Roller Coaster

up and down
this way, that
life,
a roller coaster
sharp turns
scary
but worth it
coasting to the top
waiting for the drop
but when it comes
it seems it will never end
good days, bad days
like the never ending tide
of the ocean
every day
the sun rises
and every day
it sets
no matter what happens
the stars will continue to shine
the moon will continue to glow
and life will go on
up, down
this way, that
life,
a roller coaster
