Their mysteries confuse us till our last breath.
One is a sign of benediction.
The other, a sign of malediction.
Predicting their future, that’s just fiction.

Night or day,
They determine our tomorrow and today.
The sunshine of yesterday,
The moonshine of tonight,
These two phases shower upon us some light.

Rich or poor,
Today’s society is based off grandeur.
Who is poor?
Who is rich?
To gain valuable lessons, these two must switch.

Love or hate,
To love, we must integrate.
To hate, we think to segregate.
To hate or to love?
Loving is as pure as a dove.

The wondrous aspects of the world,
The tragic aspects of the world,
The inventions of tomorrow,
The mistakes of yesterday,
The day to live graciously is here.
That day is today.
