Things I've Collected
I used to collect snowglobes
All different kinds
When I was little that’s how I liked to spend my time
Big ones
Small ones
Even medium ones too
Perhaps one day I’ll give one to you
The little world inside a sphere
Made me want to disappear
Snow falling, people smiling
It was like magic
But, it would soon become tragic
When one of them dropped
I felt I had lost a friend
When I had to sweep and mop up the pieces
I cried and cried
But, then I would get a new one later on in time
But,I’m happy for those were the things I had collected
