Making my priorities

Thoughts shift like gears
Leading to the next
The next

Ending at the inevitable
Somewhere I've been
Made accustomed to
Fears grow like egos
Love expands what
Was already fracturing
I lost myself
In finding you
Making it easy to ignore
The feeling you make in
The pit of my stomach.
Sometimes butterflies
Are hornets.
Love lost in translation,
Identity lost in the motions.
