Childhood
what a thrill –
to live in a pinecone house
with orange peel stepping stones
we were a wish made on a dandelion
what a thrill –
to choreograph dances for stuffed animals
with only a best friend for company
because big people have no imagination
what a thrill –
to grow up full of big dreams
with thousands of fairy friends
and no one to stop you
