As the leaves turned green,

All is spring 

After life has sprung,

Darkness and Ice devour the Earth

Long has Darkness waited

Long War has hidden

Now, with the trees turned black

War and Darkness rule once more

Only one has endured this lowly time

The Only one is a single tree who stands proud and pure

Who stands tall.
