We all search for one thing in this crazy world.
We all work to get our name in the shining lights.
No one wants to come in second;
No one wants to be the understudy.
We all put up a front.
A front we display as ourselves.
We let people think we are one way just to raise our rankings.
Our names are just our symbols.
Our bodies are just our shapes.
And our thoughts don’t exist.

We change to fit in.

We ask others what they think because we don’t want to take the blame for something “unworthy.”
We do what they want so we aren’t judged.
We mold ourselves into what society sees as perfect.

We conform as a unit.

We look in the mirror and smile the same smile as all the others.
We travel in groups because being alone is frowned upon.
Our own self is worthless.
We lie, cheat, give up the past, present, future, everything
