A Broken Down Soul
Nobody knows what my future holds.
When my once warm heart turn icy cold.
When my face is wet from burning tears.
When my body is weak from useless years.
Or when I start to see my future fading.
Or my sunshine is gone from hurtful shading.
What it'll add up to if I try to keep going.
Or if I do nothing with no one knowing.
Will I still have sadness in despair growing?
The question I ask with no answer back.
But laughter I hear for the things I lack.
So no more I try to make someone else proud.
Too much depression for my mind to crowd.
I know I can fix what my passion sow.
A new found heart, for a broken down soul.
