Songs are a series of beats
and a series of my worlds
the two don’t seem to go together
but eventually
they do.
They’re there for the sleepless nights
and endless car rides
Songs express what
I can’t say
but there are millions of lyrics that can
They can bring back thousands
of great memories
or hundreds of bad ones
There are songs about love, and hate,
and  good times, and bad times
but theres always gonna be one for any day. 
it seems like there are
Too many worlds to pick from
but everyone has a favorite
Some people like country,
I live for rock.
some don’t listen but
Songs are everywhere,
school, movies, commercials, concerts.
Some songs seem like
they have even been around  forever
but one thing I know for sure is
I would be crazy if I didn’t have music
to shut the world out
even if it’s just for a little bit each day.
