Childhood
I miss the days when I was younger
I miss God getting a strike
Lighting up the whole night sky
In an array of wonder
I miss the days when there was no such thing as beauty
I miss when there was no such thing as ugly
Everyone was equal
Everyone was beautiful
I miss the days when school was fun
I miss going to school, excited to learn
The days when math was fun
When history was actually interesting
Now my life is just a sea of stress
One imperfect grain of sand
On the beaches of maturity
That will never wash away
We all still have a child in us
Why not bring it back?
Bring it back to the days
When we were all younger
The days when we were all happier
