Alone
I am trapped in my body,
All I can hear is nothingness,
And all I see is darkness.
I howl out in rage,
But cannot hear my own voice,
Or the crying of my mother.
I kick and punch around me,
But cannot see what I have destroyed,
Or my father's heartbroken face.
I'm stranded in a world I do not understand,
With people who do not understand me,
Which gets me wondering,
What if nothing's there at all?
I am alone.
