The Beast Inside me

Look at me. What do you see?
Do you see girl, happy as can be?
Or do you see the girl who's hiding within,
The oe who's screaming beneath my skin?
She hates the world for the cruelty it shows,
But what she says, nobody knows.
I hide her deep where nobody can see,
But I cannot deny that she is inside of me.
She really is a horrid character,
Guiltless and murderous, she is a fearsome predator.
But then I pause and stop trying to flle,
And I realize that I a her, and she is me.
