A new day,
A new year,
A new smile,
A new tear,
A new school,
With new peers,
With old fears,
Trying to get a new life,
Trying to do right,
Finding the new light,
Having the time of my life,
Harder than meets the eye,
Whining cause I can’t find,
A right path that doesn't wind,
Running from past mistakes,
Taking everyone’s breathe away,
Sharing my story trying to save,
Making money to get away,
Living life kind of high,
Wondering when the time passed by
