Paper and Ink that's all it is
Yet it decides children's futures
And it is the source of so many beatings
Why? Because it's been drilled into our brain
" You're not good enough for anything if you can't make this ink be an A. "
" You're stupid and don't deserve anything good in life if you can't memorize this information that we want you to."
" Oh just because you won't need it doesn't mean you don't have to memorize it. "
How is this going to help me live my life?
The people that aren't brainwashed yet ask
" Oh it won't but because we had to do it you have to. As a matter of fact you have to memorize more and you'll have to memorize it earlier too."
But...
“No buts you will do it or you will be labeled as a delinquent."
