Dark Dreams

I look in the
sky and see
Dark Dreams,
yet everything
I see is
not what
it seems.
I can Dream what
I want and see
what I saw, but
really what I
see is nothing
at all.
I see streams and
meadows and
palm trees too;
I think they are
real, but I have
no clue.
I notice a dark
figure, then
a high pitched
scream. Then finally
I wake up, from
my long, Dark
Dream.
