The salt of my cheeks

Kiss my
eyes
lick my
lashes
but plow on
forward,
leaving behind a
trail of broken
hearts
leaving my eyes
to sting
my lashes
cold
they travel on
down the slopes
of my cheeks
caressing as they
go
then leaving them
too
open to the cold
leaving
everything
raw
