Hide me, hide me
Put me away so no one can see
Let me hear and watch, but don't,
Don't let me be in the world
I don't mean what the word of God says,
I mean I want to have friends,
And laugh, and talk, and be
Me.
But I can't.
Some may say I hide myself,
As if a precious jewel
But all I can see,
And think, as my explanation
Is that I'm an abomination.
