Raining
  The rain.
  Pittering and pattering like feet
  Millions of people, walking, strolling
Pouring, drizzling, soft and heavy footsteps
  Darkness over the landscape
No ray of light to be seen
  The rain people walking
  Together, ceaseless sound
  Inside the cozy cottages
  With fires burning bright
  Families gather 'round,
  The light in the cottage
  Chases darkness away
  People sharing, telling stories
  Together, ceaseless sound

It was raining when I wrote this, pounding, thundering rain that inspired me to write about the rain people. I was just thinking to myself, the rain has rhythms, footsteps, like someone is walking out there. But then, I thought, what's the opposite of that?
