Glistening Silver in Shadows

This is a picture I did not take, of a man lurking in the silhouettes of bushes cast by moonlight, his long, draping coat flaps against his legs, snapping in the wind. The knife he carries glistens with the moon’s reflection – bright silver against blackened clothes. I hide between the dumpsters, my breath coming in quick gasps that cloud in front of my face.
