I Want to Be

I feel the weight of the world on top of me,
and there’s only one thing I’d rather be.
I want to be as free as a bird,
but I can’t with my vision blurred.
I want to be free.
All of my problems are caving in,
and it’s as if I cannot win.
I want to be strong like a lioness,
but I can’t with my life a mess.
I want to be free.
My life is like a. old, rusted chain,
and it’s so hard to stay sane.
I want to be intelligent like an elephant,
but I can’t with negative vibes in my element.
I want to be free.
