Paths
She goes left, I go right.
We both leave without a fight.
Which way is wrong?
Which way is right?
Now I’ll be traveling in circles all night.
Is it for the best?
Or for the worst?
We each have our own quest,
But my heart still hurts.
Our lives are changing
In ways we can’t understand
Our friendships are breaking
Becoming less grand
I am scared
I can’t comprehend
I don’t know how I’ll fare
Or if I’ll find a new friend
But we have to go out of our zone
Don’t focus on your fright
Put up a fight
Make sure you're not outshone
You’ll do alright

Next year I am going to a different school and I want people to realize that our lives may change, but if we do our best, we'll be fine.
