listen to this story of strife 

for within it contains the truth

learn the lessons of all life

and trade away your youth

a writer sitting alone in all

quietly wishing for more

cursing herself for being so small

in her heart, mind, and core

held back her talents she hidden so well

to protect herself from their stare

and no one she would ever tell

that their laughter she can't bare

grabbed beneath her nose it seems

her work is all but gone

but across the room the favorite beems

with the desk her work is on

clustered people pass around

the work that she holds dear

the papers trampled upon the ground

and what comes forth is but a tear

taunted and teased through out the day

told that she'll amount to none

when finally she could get away

the people who teased have definitely won

at home she tore off her cape

then took a choking breath

to seek out the only escape

that brought her a sorrowful death

as word was spread through out the school

all her tormentors shared a thought

that they are now the hated fool

because of them her release she sought

they mourn the death of a friend 

when they were the leading force 

that brought her future to an end

and lead then to remorse
