I think its knowledge what I really lust for
Not to be found in my peers, for many many years
A grand rarity in this barrage of drama whores
Focused on pounding beers and stacking scores
The absence of thought, precedes all other fears

School was once a chore, but never ever more
I attend to hear, thousands of silent cheers
The sun always shines when you’re in tune with it’s core
My inner light illuminates, years of hidden fears
Fears of how I appear, everyone’s got em

In a coat of fallen tears, I flow like water
Once I’d scheme in my dreams, hidden in the stream
Now I’m just doing what I know I oughta
Winding and climbing through hearts, dodging poison darts
Never one to be named a martyr, I’d rather be claimed

The author's comments:

I would say that in a fashion, my experiences in school are what inspired me. This last year has been so wildly different from every single year before, and I love it. As for the title, people seem to enjoy talking to me and I'm told that I am somehow easy to talk to. I like to help people with their problems and encouraging others to do better and believe in themselves as well.
