Suffocation of the Sad
Let me explain to you what Sad is.
We have all suffered through a type of sad;
but the Sad I want to tell you about is not a sad that everyone experiences.
It’s the Sad that you wouldn’t wish upon your own worst enemy--
the Sad that death grips and rips out your soul.
The bitter reaper reeks of decomposing dreams and devotion
and pierces dark empty rooms with screeching sounds of suffering.
Soon after it chooses you--
Life will lack the meaning it once had.
It locks you away in prison.
Although this prison lacks 3D dimension,
It is the most difficult to escape.
It suffocates you in solitude and salt water.
While you’re gasping for breath and clawing for love--
the Sad will laugh while it watches the happiness you once had for life
capsize and go under.
This Sad is relentless, ruthless, and reckless.
It gives no thought to the fantastic person that you are
or the great person you could one day be.
Its only purpose is to imprison you
in a miserable, hellish reality
that you would rather reasonably be six feet under than live in.
