"Gone"
You were gone rain returns to cloud
giving up
like a cancer
with no life to live
you left like a burst of October wind
gone
heart shattered
pollen scattered in spring
crushing
once there no more
anger hatred
breaking everything fragile bones
why
who knows
no blinks
just gone like snow melting
you had your fun
say goodbye
I say hello

I was assigned to do a creative writing piece for my eleventh grade writing class, and I decided to combine two poems that I had written earlier. The poem is about abandoment, loss, heartbreak. When people readt this poem I hope they can relate to the words i used for my own abadonment and heartbreak.
