Before the last green leaf falls,
Hold me in your arms.
As we pray for an enternal summer with on another.
Because when that last green leaf falls,
We will have to depart;
Into a world of loneliness,
Our hearts apart.
I will fall apart,
When the last green leaf falls.

I was inspired by looking out the window to see two green leafs on a tree branch. They looked as if they were holding onto each other.
