Palm of My Hands
A palm reaching out
One with no grasp
But foolishly I sought
To go and to grab
Little did I know
That this palm reaching out
Was no palm at all
A palm that misleads
Back when I sought anything
To fill a throbbing gap
That long pained me so
I sought a palm to grasp.
And there it was just sitting there,
I was not hesitant
For the palm itself seemed
So warm, and so pleasent
But learn from this mistake
As an old saying goes
Dont judge a book by it's cover
And for love, the same thing shows
