The moonlight guides
Leaves fallen
To the warmth of the stars
Paradise lies light years away
But the world is so cold tonight
So they’ll tear in the wind
Until they see the world begin again

I wrote this piece as an homage to darker times. It is written from an empathetic point of view as I see other leaves, or people, fall from grace, from this root of life towards the ground and their only hope for renewal, for getting better is a complete turn around.
