This is the sign you've been waiting for
Kiss the girl. Kiss the boy. Cut your hair.
Tell you're doctor you haven't slept in 9 days. Paint a picture.
Lie to your parents and or peers and say you're okay.
Actually try to be okay.
Don't do your homework because you're out laughing with your best friends at 12 AM and actually feeling alive.
Instead wake up at 4 to do it and smile at the number written in Sharpie on your left arm.
Take a sip of your mom's liquid fire when she's not looking and breathe out flames in the direction of any person who's ever made feel inferior or like you don't matter.
Cry over your 3.3 GPA and your B+'s.
Or
skip a class and spend it outside walking around the place you've known since 4 years old.
Think about how you've changed 10 years ago and how you'll change in another.
Take your drivers test.
Smile so hard at the rude waitress.
Jump off the Golden state bridge as you flash a Golden smile to everyone and everything you're leaving behind. Lead someone to a ledge and help them jump.
Or
encourage them to look past the horizon.
Help dig their own grave , then lie down with them in it.
Build a bridge that connects the ledge and bridge and walk alongside them as they make it back to ground level or whatever level they wish to be at.
Whatever you needed to hear I hope you've heard it.
I'm not going to lie and say it gets better from here.
And I'm also not going to lie and say everything gets worse.
But there's two sides to every situation. And if you're scared of your future, or rejction, or even being alive.
If you're hesitant on doing something. no matter what it is. This is the sign you've been waiting for.
