Visibility
  Faces pass by
  And
  Even though one is yours
  You are invisible to me
  As I am
  Invisible to you.
  All the scars you saw;
  Visible or invisible?
  I can find yours, easy,
  Hiding like a mouse
  I befriended long ago
  Only I have seen
  And
If I’m being truthful (which I think we always were)
  I will be the only
  One to see
  Mousie.
  But right now
  We are invisible;
  Does that make me invincible?
  Not even a hi
Or a “how do u do”
Like I see in old movies
The kind that don’t come in color.
  In a movie
Would you see me– Visible or Invisible?
  Smile
  Again
  And would I see you?
  Would we
  Laugh
  Share
  And be
  As we once
  Laughed
  Shared
  And—were. ?
  we were.
  Yet now
  we are
  Invisible
  Just you
  And
  Me.
