Bears, deer, bobcats and tourists roam my hills and valleys,
Mountains tower over the many astonished visitors;
Streams and lakes glide through my sacred grounds and stun,
Giant sequoias stand tall and proud for the visitors that stare;
My water’s calmness reflects the sky and trees and silences,
Fog hovers over the ground in the silent mornings and mesmerizes;
Lodges in my valleys host the people wishing to see my beauty,
I am a park open to any willing visitor or animal that travels my lands;
I am protected and preserved, I am Yosemite National Park.
