Tell me how does it feel?
The wind of the bluest skies, the securities of empty worries?
Peeling the easy money of potato peels?
Tell me how does the luxury feel?
To have eyes envy your softest skin and the most charming men,
At the rescue of your curls? Tell me.
How do compliments like so, and robes of indigo,
Feed your emotions?
Does the sand of unknown islands glow like the adjacent waters?
Does a white fence, in before and after tense,
Really make a finishing touch?
Tell me how does the presence of love make one’s blood warm profoundly?
How does dreams handed by a silver spoon, mix with sounds of a golden harp?
Now you say,” A Question if I May?” “How does it feel?”
Oh… It’s something you would never understand.

The author's comments:

This poem was inspired by the tons of children who sit and ponder about the lives of people who have better than they have. They feel as if the better-off will never understand the hardships they go through. In a sense its a big metaphor for the lower and rich class of America.
