Leafs
I want a life that's carefree as a leaf blowing through the wind. Thers's no worries where I will land. In fact the landing is so soft I don't realize I even landed. But that's not my life. My life is that leaf that got a random gust of wind, taking me far from home. Becoming the leaf that got stuck in the gutter, rained on, tepped on, stuck in that one place never to be free. That ugly little leaf that no little boy will pick up and take home to his mommy. Being proud he found it all on his own. He'll look at me and feel sorry that no one found me before I was crumpled and ruined. No longer bright and new but dull and faded. The leaf that will slwoly lose piece by piece until that's left is the spine and stem. Leaving nothing behind but giving back for another leaf to grow and fall on their own wind paths.

I guess I was inspired by watching leafs fall in my back yard and thought about my life. So I chose to compare my life to a leaf.
