Beauty From Above

Showers from overhead slowly conclude.
The sun peeks out, from behind the gloomy gray.
Stepping outside, I inhale the luscious smell of life renewed.
The sun cues his chanting birds back into song, like a director would to his band.
And the chipmunks return to their nut gathering.
Looking up, dazzling canvas meets my eyes;
Breath strokes of red, yellow, blue, green, purple and orange.
Who tickles the sky for the pleasure of others?
To my delight, the unmistakable masterpiece is enhanced
and I see its replica right above.
