Losing You
It’s 4:09 in the morning
My shades are closed and it’s dark
I look next to me
And there is this empty space
Where you used to lay
I reach for my phone
But you are no longer there anymore
Ripped pictures fall on the floor
I hear your voice in my head
The voice that promised me so many things
I look down and see your sweatshirt hanging on me
My tear stains all down the sleeve
I listen to your old voicemails
The one where you told me you love me
I listen to the one where you said you were smiling so big
Then I wake up
I look next to me only to see a breathing body holding me
Just another one of my biggest nightmares
Loosing you
