The Field of Blue
The salty spray burns your eyes
As you look out into the distance
The never ending field of blue,
That seems to go on for eternity
The innocent sand runs to get away
From the pounding waves that will bruise
The ocean shows no mercy,
as it never stops rushing ashore
The tide brings in new creatures
Unique with different colors, shapes, and sizes
All having one thing in common,
the most unforgiving home.
Rough yet delicate
The oceans large body is intimidating
But it is miraculous
The ocean is a field of blue.
