Everything melts away
The light fades to darkness
My eyes shut to this world
but show me a new sight
Everything is now a blur
i can't see
yet still I dash
The chattering voices on the wind
turn to murmurs
the words obscure
the voices garble
Suddenly I hear a sharp whistle
the voices clear
my sight returns
tommorow I return to
run again
