Make the conscious decision to be happy and stick to it, or society will convince you personal happiness is dependent on something external

Outsider, “A person who does not belong in a particular group”
As children we are accustom to this infamous outsider
It’s the kid who sits in the corner of the playground talking to himself
It’s the little girl who doesn’t like to dress up but she likes to play with bugs
It’s the boy who likes to sing and dance rather and play football

Everyone in there life is accustom to these people, that’s just the way it is
In general though your home is supposed to be your safe haven.
A place you feel completely comfortable to speak your mind and be yourself
Yet for most people I know these days their home is somewhat of a warzone

We live in houses with arguments of Capulet and Montague proportions
Me though, I live in a house of three Capulets, me being the lone Montague defending my own honor
While fighting to be taken serious I get told to stop bitching
While speaking of things I believe in I get told to calm down
While begging for someone to be on my side just once, I am shut down and told that I’m overdramatic

On the outside the Montague’s have no problems
They are the family that will help you shovel your driveway
They are the ones to smile and wave hello

On the inside there are problems that could blow Romeo and Juliet to smithereens
Alcohol, drugs, pills you name it, we got it

This Capulet though tempted to give in will not downgrade to their level
This Capulet will go places leaving he overbearing life behind
This Capulet will learn to stand alone weather the Montague’s will join her,
Or throw her to the dogs
