A Teammate is someone you trust,
someone who steals the basketball
and passes it to you,
someone who you can rely on.
A teammate is some who makes the alley-oop with you.
He is the one that cheers your shots,
and the one that pats your shoulder when you lose.
A teammate is someone who encourages you
and helps you to give the next step.
He is the one that is always well-disposed
to play a 1 on 1 with you.
He is one who supports you
even when you shot an airball.
A true teammate the one that is willing to dim
so you can shine.
