A connection that links two lifelong loves,

The thing that ties together two land masses,

It provides a bond to worldly spirits and angels in heaven above,

And gives support to prominent passes.

Bridges are life's binders,

They link everything together,

Empathy is the bridge that connects feelings,

And a suspension bridge is held by tight tethers.

They give us a viable means to cross,

Or a way to form expressions and meanings around life,

They are created then destroyed and sometimes created agian,

And usually cannot be broken by a simple knife.
