My Candle
My candle flickers in total blackness. It is the only light I have. It is all I can see. when it goes out I lose control. I frantically search for someone to relight my candle. I rely on others to relight my candle. Each time I wait. I wait for the one to relight my candle. I eventually find someone, only to have them blow it out again. leaving me in empty darkness again. I know now that I cannot rely on others to relight my candle. Me, and only me, can relight my candle. no one can stop me from letting it shine, from letting me shine.
