Music
You've been here long before me
Whispering and bellowing to folks thy euphony .
People have been united, countries have been swollen
By shadowing our souls in cheer and affliction.
You know us well, and you see us clear
In times of joy and in times cheer.
In cases of bliss, mellifluous you become
Vibrantly shine till our hearts blossom.
In moments of grief, somber are thee
Prudently warm us with with your gracious eulogy.
But lately I notice you are changed
To a novel form and to a freeform.
What I hear mostly are clamors and discords
Revered by all in programs and billboards.
Disheartened some find thy words turning superficial
When looking back at moments when you were gleeful.
You charmed us well, you nursed us fine
Yet it is we who put you in decline.
Though people see you turn all to shame
I see thy past with nothing but acclaim.
