Grave of The Past
A cord of lies and connections
Grabbing my knife
Running toward the light
Disconnecting this tangled web of deception
Learning to trust again
You left me a mess, afraid of all else
As I begin to apologize to myself
For believing you
My feelings are as deep as the deepest depth
And your love for me is as shallow
As the grave we went down into
Together

This piece reflects my feelings. It is inspired by someone I share a special connection with, but has broken my trust for them several times.
