2 girls in like
2 girls in like
You’re mouth said “one more line”
but your body ached for poetry
like your pulse pumps on my pathetic prose
Left on 51st and Broadway:
We danced with the dead
You lost your phone somewhere
and kissed me in the crosswalk
It was winter, but you couldn’t tell
I wrote a poem, but it wasn’t about you
You love me as much as I want
to touch you
Brown hair making me dizzy
I want your spaghetti strap
to snap my neck
I told you I don’t know anything about love,
but I wanted you to teach me.
