Her, again
I descend into my dream...
I walk alone on a cloud of dust-
It is dark,
on earth it is day.
Bloodmoon in the distance
my lamp.
I hear her behind me-
familiar, airy steps.
Slow my pace
Stop
wait for her.
She touches my shoulder-
sends tingles down my spine.
Her presence,
strangely warm.
A maternal whisper-
"Is it time?"
not yet
not yet
not yet.
I turn-
Her raven wings extend,
slightly sinister smirk on her face.
She gave me a slight tap-
My body goes limp,
I'm not afraid:
Close my eyes,
Accept my fate.
